get CONNECTED is a one day long new age business conference. Created for University of Waterloo students, the event will be hosted Friday March 24th out of Communitech. The day will consist of an amalgamation of lectures, panels, and workshops from some of Toronto's most cutting-edge thought leaders. If you are interested in taking your understanding of business to an all-new digital level, are curious about topics such as personal branding and content marketing, or want a top notch networking opportunity, this event is for you!

Can I attend if I am not a student?

Unfortunately this event is only open to University of Waterloo students. However, if you are wanting to attend on behalf of a blog or press. Shoot an email to the organizer, Tiana Eghdam at tiana.eghdam@gmail.com and we may be able to work something out. 

I filled out the eventbrite form, does that mean I'm going?

No! It only means that you have submitted yourself for consideration. Only the TOP 40 students will be accepted into the event. When will you hear about that? March 20th by midnight. Didn't get selected? You will be notified if you made the waitlist. There will be no favouring or bias in selection by the Communitech team, each application is read through carefully looking for our right fit criteria.
